Spotlight
The Lagos to Hamburg Line was written in collaboration with the German Consulate-General in Lagos, and covers the 170-year-old period of the formal commercial relationship between Nigeria and Germany. As well as over 500 years of physical interaction after the first recorded presence of German explorers in the 16th and early 17th centuries, the book is also a mini-commercial history of Nigeria tracing in an objective manner the Nation’s transition from a traditional to a modern economy.
